Irish Migrants in the Canadas: A New Approach" by Bruce S. Elliott Barb Chapman A book on how the migrations started, where they went, the effects of the migration, and so on, rather than a list of who migrated.  It is rich in history and very clearly explains how religion, economics, etc., family life, occupation affected migration decisions.  It does have names from early migrations to Canada and of families that migrated westward, mainly throughout Canada, but also into Michigan and New York. Please limit requests to one surname at a time if a really common one (RYAN, MOORE, etc.), two if not as common
London Township Past and Present Barb Chapman A 2002 publication of biographies of the families in London Township.  Many have photos.  A lot of Irish, particularly from Co. Tipperary, migrated to London Township in the 1820s and 1830s.  Many of their descendants, including my ancestors, migrated to Michigan in the 1870s and 1880s.Please limit requests to one surname at a time if a really common one (RYAN, MOORE, etc.), two if not as common
