My Tips
OK, so I'm not an expert, but here's a list of tips I want to share with you — they've already helped me tremendously! Home-gymmers can especially benefit from these:

My best advice is to get the Success Journal!! It is super beneficial, worth the 16 bucks (Walmart), and helps keep you dedicated to your plan and to your self-promises! It has been a timesaver and lifesaver for me so far!

Don't start that workout or cardio until you are in the right frame of mind. Visualize pushing yourself hard and hitting those 10s! Don't start your workout until your mind is ready!

Take a look at that before photo right before you start each workout. You'll be amazed at the determination and power you'll suddenly have so much more of!

Reach out to others frequently for support and inspiration. They may just make the difference between your going on to reach your 10s or your giving up all together!

Buy a smaller pair of pants or that smaller blouse that you dream of wearing. It really helps you see your goal and put your eyes on something tangible to reach for!

Music moves — so get you some music that really gets you moving and inspires you to work really hard!

Surround yourself with things that will boost your energy, mood, and mindset! A few ideas are inspirational posters, photos of "fit" role models, and anything red (energy-boosting color).

DON'T shop early for your free day! This would mean you have unauthorized and maybe even junk foods tempting you during the week! Wait until the day of to acquire what you want to eat on your free day!

Talk to yourself (*shrug*) and keep mentally pumped up throughout the workouts. Talk yourself through the hard parts and give yourself a pat on the back when you've pushed yourself to a 10!

Hard work pays off — yours will pay off if you stick with the program.

Make the most of every second of your training.

If you feel yourself start to slip or losing motivation, think about what made you want this so bad in the first place. How did your health make you feel? In my case, it made me feel bad. Really bad and unfit and unhealthy. No more! You can change it now!

Take your progress one step at a time. Visualize the goal but remember that it take steps to get there.

If you slip up or fall off the wagon, pick right back up and hang on to the wagon tighter than ever! Today is a new day — make everything moving forward count! Don't let a small/minor setback become a negatively impacting major setback. It's not, it's just a stumble, so keep moving!

Patience!! We all would love to wake up with fit bodies, but it takes time. In this case, it's only 12 weeks for a transformation. Rome wasn't built in a day...
