This is the second annual (only 5 years late!) Land O' Wonder Trivia Contest. This time, the winner receives a trip to fabulous
Alton, England* to enjoy the endlessly rolling hills, the inexplicably accommodating local folk, and the dangerously narrow roads!
Stay at one of the many quaint Bed-n-Breakfast lodgings that's in and around the Alton area, where you will dine on a full, rich,
authetic english breakfast, ask embrassingly obvious questions of your host about their culture, and perhaps even share your room
with the owner's slobbering cat. Wherever you chose to stay, the main attraction, Alton Towers, is sure to be within a few minutes
drive. While there, you will notice a wondrous juxtaposition of an ancient castle surrounded by the latest advanced roller coasters.
Don't forget to dine in the Country Inn, where you can get a previously-unknown-to-you spicy meat dish that you will not soon forget!

Welcome to my first trivia contest. The grand prize is a free 7 day trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico for
2 (excluding air and accommodations). The runner-up will receive a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity
to cook a fabulous dinner for Miggy and two guests of his choice at his residence. However, the
winner will be responsible for traveling to Concord and back.
And the trivia question is:
Category physics: List the 1,500 sub-atomic particles in the Standard Model.
Entries will be accepted until 9/30/99. A drawing will be held if there are multiple correct entries.
If the drawing is inconclusive, then the winners will be determined in an on-line game of "Rock-
Paper-Scissors". If more than 3 correct answers were submitted, then the contestants will be
narrowed down by an on-line spelling bee, followed by (if case of a tie in the spelling bee) an
essay contest entitled "Why I deserve to participate in Miggy's Rock-Paper-Scissors competition
in a thousand words or less". Any decisions will be made by Miggy, the Thief and will be final.
