Glossary

Every class in Enshin Karate Begins with warm up and stretching. Then a series of basic punches, kicks, and blocks are taught. For the duration of the class, the basic techniques are used in various combinations with arm guards, partners, katas, and Sabaki training. Sabaki training includes working free form with a partner and light sparring. The only Competition in an Enshin dojo is within the students to be the best they can be. Control, courtesy and respect are emphasized.

Classes are taught by Sensei Yuji Iwakura and assistant instructor Beth Iwakura. Beth is a nidan (second degree black belt) who has trained in Enshin Karate for over 7 years.

Children's Classes

Monday and Wednesday 5:30 to 6:30PM

Saturday 9:30 to 10:30 AM

Adult Classes

Monday and Wednesday 6:45 to 8:00PM

Thursday 6:00 to 7:15PM

Saturday 10:45 to 12:00 AM
