I'm working with guerilla-pictures.com again on a film project. Also working with Neo Films on a E-zine and other stuff (Music Fests) 4/4/07 - Have quite a few scripts written. Now what? 3/2/07 - Wanting to make a music video. Music by Adam Barnes and The Outsiders. The script has been written. I haven't got everyone on board yet so this one my fall through before we ever get started. We'll see. 3/1/07 - The "Rutherford County Mafia" project fell through after 3 weeks of shooting. Bummer... 1/7/07 - Added a link to a local band in the links section. Check it out. The Outsiders 1/6/07 - I've been helping out on a feature film entitled "Rutherford County Mafia" written and directed by Jared Waters. Should be a cool flick! 1/2/07 - Wow...it's been a long time. Happy New Year 3/17/06 - AntiStar Prod. are producing a short comedy for the Howard Stern Film Fest. Shooting starts on March 25. 2/1/06- "Too far gone" have changed their name to Sadokill. 1/20/06 - Check out my friend's (Jeff Adams) web page. It's his alt. rock band. TOO FAR GONE 12/27/05 - Been working on a few new tunes with Randy Evans (ex-Smilin' Dogs bassist)@ RRE studios. Looking for a new drummer. If interested, Email me. 11/17/05 - guerilla-pictures.com has reserved the Joy Theater in Kings Mountain, NC for Sat 26 Nov 2005 to showcase their/our latest films - Unresolved, Cell Door and The Furies. The shows will run at 3pm, 5pm, 7pm and 9pm. Tickets are just $5.00 to see all three films! Every ticket purchased will be entered into a drawing for DVDs of the showcase. There will be 10 winners total so make sure that you bring your friends for a chance to win these films on DVD
11/11/05 - A new script is in the works for a controversial short film about racism in America. 10/10/05- The Furies has been completed. The premiere party for cast and crew will be held this weekend. Oct.15th Check back later from dates on a public viewing. 8/29/05 - A FireLake Fest review can be viewed on the words page. 8/18/05 - Attended the FireLake Festival In SC over the weekend. That has to be one of the best venues I've ever attended. A real class act!!! I can hardly wait until next year. Devo, Lit and Puddle of Mudd were some of the headliners. I'll be writing a review in the near future. Meanwhile check out some photos from the show. 7/14/05 - Editing, Editing, Editing...Go Mark Go 6/6/05 - We did it! We shot the film in two days except for the second unit stuff. A big thanks to the cast and crew. Now we head into the post production stages. Click this link to see photos of "The Furies" behind the scenes. 5/12/05 - All the parts have been cast for The Furies. Amazingly it was done in the first round. A special thanks to all that auditioned. Shooting is scheduled to start in June. 4/30/05 - Anton Newcombe of Brian Jonestown Massacre has agreed to let use a track off of the And This Is Our Music album. 4/10/05 - I talked to Anton Newcombe of Brian
Jonestown Massacre about using some of his music in The Furies.
He was spotlighted in the rockumentary
"Dig!". 4/10/05 - Auditions for "The Furies" have been rescheduled for May 7th. 4/03/05 - I've been searching for someone to do a soundtrack for "The Furies" I've been talking to Marc Bianchi of Her Space Holiday and he has shown some interest. I saw this band a few years ago when they opened up for Bob Mould and really liked them.
4/2/05 - Auditions for "The Furies" are set for next Saturday 4/9/05

3/29 - The Zippo Manufacturing Company has shown interest in "The Furies" project. They have provided us with four custom Zippo lighters. Thanks Zippo!
3/23 - The deal with Indy-Horror film fell through. So it looks like it's going to be a Guerilla-Pictures and AntiStar Productions venture.

2/12/05 - New Project AntiStar Productions is in the early stages of a planning a movie short entitled "The Furies". We had our first meeting with Guerilla Pictures today. The script should be finalized soon. The project may be under the new label Indy-Horror. We're having a meeting with them in a couple of weeks. We're looking for actors, volunteers, financers and/or moral support. Synopsis The film
is going to be a dark thriller set in modern times. The main character
"Caleb" is an egotistical malefactor that mistreats his fellow man.
After a night of partying Caleb accidentally runs a woman “Alecto” over that
he had met earlier in a pub. After discovering that he has killed the woman he
decides to conceal his crime by disposing of the body. In the process of this he
finds her lighter with the inscription ALECTO on it and keeps it for himself.
Through the process of twists and turns the audience finds out the identity of
Alecto and the reason for their encounter. Alecto was one of the Furies in Greek
mythology. The Furies were persecutors of men who committed crimes against
humankind. Their effect on their victim was madness or even death.
2/5/05 - Picked up an new domain name "theantistar.com". I tried to get my old addy "antistar.com" but someone has already purchased it. Who knows, maybe the Shelby Star snatched it because of my older antistar page. I was told that the Shelby Star wasn't very happy with that page. Oh well, whatever... 1/27/05 - Trying out a new format. I probably have a few dead links. If you run across one please contact me. Thanks
