This site is to inform you about my background
and to ensure that you understand our professional relationship.

I hold a M.Ed. degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte taken in 1978.  I have been a professional counselor since 1971.

I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a North Carolina Board Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) (1975 - 6/30/96) and a North Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).  For a long while, I worked almost exclusively with substance abusing clientele.  I earned National Counselor certification in 1983, North Carolina Registered Practicing Counselor credentialing in early 1985 and earned licensure as a North Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor in 1994.

Monday – Friday, 9 – 7,
After-hours and weekend appointments available.
